I wouldn’t say that hockey parents get more hotheaded than any other sports parent, but maybe they get more attention in the media. It’s unfortunate that we even have to remind ourselves to behave once the season starts. As parents, we are supposed to be setting a good example of sportsmanship for our players.

Well put Jodi, but I think sometimes the pride/love of our kids blinds us to our actions. In other cases there are parents who just don’t get it.
